The Canadian Property Tax Association’s 2016 annual conference is taking place at the Fairmont Vancouver from September 25 to 28, 2016. EVI is a member of the CPTA and will be attending and participating in the conference. We hope to see you there!

IPT Annual Conference – June 12-16, 2016 in Traverse City, MI
EVI president Jeff Grad will be participating and presenting in this year’s Institute of Professionals in Taxation annual conference held in Traverse City, Michigan. He will be bringing the IPT membership up to date on Canadian property tax issues and opportunities. We hope to see you there!
IPTI Ontario Tax Summit – May 16 2016
The International Property Tax Institute is hosting the 4th Ontario Property Tax Summit in Niagara Falls, Ontario on May 16, 2016. This is an opportunity to review the practical changes which are necessary to improve the property tax and assessment landscape in Ontario and to discuss how they can be implemented. Attendees will include legal professionals, the Ontario Ministry of Finance, judicial officials from the assessment review board, appraisers, assessors and consultants.
This is a follow on to previous summits in 2013 and 2014 which led to some of the current changes to the regime in the province.
